How Herdy works

Carpooling,
made simple.

If you’ve never used a carpooling app before, the idea is simple: people already travelling in the same direction share one car and split the cost.

Simple for drivers and passengers

Drivers post a ride in the app. Passengers request a seat. If the booking is accepted, the trip cost is shared.

Herdy is designed to make everyday ride sharing easy to understand, practical to use and safer to trust.

Step by step

For drivers. For passengers.
For real trips.

Herdy is built around the kind of trips people already make — the app simply helps make sharing them easier.

For drivers

If you’re already making a trip, you can post it in the app. Passengers heading the same way can request to join. Posting a ride is free.

For passengers

Browse available rides in the app, request a seat, and only pay if the driver accepts the booking.

Herdy uses secure in-app payments. When a passenger requests a booking, payment is authorised and only completed if the driver accepts.

Safety matters in shared travel. Herdy includes phone and email verification, optional identity verification, ratings and reviews, and messaging before booking.

Plans change, so cancellations can be managed directly in the app.

Herdy is not a web booking platform — the website explains the service, while ride posting and booking happen in the app.
